Hi everyone. every been shoved by a ghost in a cave no less? I have! happened last sat June the 21first.
My son and i were in Colorado springs visiting my mom . we had some extra time on sat so we went to cave of the winds.
being as he is older we elected to take the lantern tour. That means you have a hand held lantern that runs on a kerosene light wick.
The tour started at 1 pm . in the section of the caves our tour went to , there are no electric lights. You have your lantern in addition the tour guide has a large flash light. to get the unlightened portion of the caves you have to pass through the lightened venues. Just before you go in the guide tells you about 2 ghosts that are rumored to haunt the unlighted caves.
i noticed one man seemed to get kind of grin on his face ( as though he might be up to mischief) at this point i resolved to have no one behind me . he resisted but i insisted. ( one thing i cant stand is when people fake paranormal experiences) in other words no one was ever behind me the entire time we were in the unlighted caves.
At one point the cave narrows to about 42 inches high and maybe slightly over 2 and 1/2 feet wide. The rest of the group had gone a bit a head ( i was lone) as i picked up my pace i was shoved to the floor of the cave by s0mething unseen. ended up with a skinned knee and dirt in my new video camera . picked myself up and caught up with the group.
I took the tour guide aside and told him what had transpired .( i asked he not tell the group what happened to me ) He smiled and said now i will tell you about the 3rd ghost that inhabits these caves . He did tell the rest of the group about the 3rd ghost though a this time .
seems the 3rd ghost is a native american that is angry about the way some native american remains were treated Long ago . He comes up behind people and Shoves them to the Ground.
This Ghost doesn't care if you are respectful or not .
That's okay . i would walk those caves again and maybe the ghost would talk to me this time instead of shoving.
